Who runs this site
Tapastrails.com is an independent food-tour curation website. The site is operated from Valencia, Spain.

We collect very little. Specifically:
- Analytics data via Google Analytics (only if you consent via the cookie banner) — anonymized information about your visit: pages viewed, time on site, country (not city), device type, and how you arrived at the site (e.g., Google search). We do not collect your name, email, or identifying personal data.

- Outbound link tracking — when you click an affiliate link to GetYourGuide, Viator, or Klook, those platforms may set their own cookies. Their privacy policies apply once you're on their sites.
We do not collect or store: names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or any personal contact details. We do not have a contact form or email list at this time.
Why we collect it
Analytics data helps us understand which content is useful to readers so we can write more of it. That's it. We do not sell data. We do not share data with advertisers.

How long we keep data
Google Analytics retains data for 14 months by default. After that, individual visit data is automatically deleted; only aggregated trends remain.
